Os aeroportos do Rio de Janeiro, Campinas e Guarulhos receberão visitas do segundo maior avião civil de carga do mundo, o Antonov AN-124 Ruslan já nesse final de semana. As operações serão realizada pela empresa ucraniana Antonov Airlines, especialista em cargas ultra-pesadas.

Segundo os dados constantes do registro de voos da Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil, os voos do cargueiro gigante seguem a programação abaixo. A carga ou a empresa por ela responsável ainda não são conhecidas publicamente.
Quando o Antonov AN-124 vai pousar
RIO DE JANEIRO – em 24 DE JULHO, o voo ADB-3891 tem o pouso programado no Galeão para às 18h locais, proveniente do Suriname. A decolagem acontece no dia seguinte ao meio-dia como ADB-3911.
CAMPINAS – em 25 DE JULHO, o voo ADB-3877 chega em Viracopos às 10h locais, vindo de Dacar, no Senegal. No mesmo dia, ao meio-dia, o avião parte para Comodoro Rivadavia, na Argentina.
GUARULHOS – em 26 DE JULHO, o voo ADB-3877 pousa em GRU às 16h15, proveniente de Comodoro Rivadavia e decola no mesmo dia às 18h para Dacar.
Esses horários podem sofrer alterações por atrasos com a carga da aeronave.
O Antonov 124
O Antonov-124-100 é um avião da era soviética e o segundo maior avião de carga civil do mundo em capacidade, construídos pela Antonov, empresa que está baseada na atual Ucrânia.
O An-124 carregue carga super pesada e superdimensionada de até 120 toneladas na maior faixa de alcance. A cabine de carga pressurizada da aeronave, com seu volume total de 1.050 m³, garante oportunidades para o transporte de diferentes tipos de carga, incluindo peças ou remessas fora do padrão e de grandes dimensões, exigindo condições especiais de transporte.
O trem de pouso equipado com 24 rodas permite alterar o ângulo da fuselagem para simplificar as operações de carregamento.
O Antonov-124-100 possui duas entradas de carga, no nariz e na cauda da aeronave, ambas equipadas com rampas de carga em expansão. Para o carregamento de cargas fora do padrão, a cabine é equipada com dois guinchos elétricos com tração de 3 toneladas cada e 4 guinchos elétricos com capacidade de carga comum de até 30 toneladas.
