Para começar este resumo de notícias. A quarta-feira (29) começa com mais um reajuste nos combustíveis. Dessa vez, a alta é de 8.9% no preço do diesel, conforme anunciado pela Petrobras. Para os importadores, ainda é pouco para recuperar a defasagem. A situação fez o presidente da Câmara dos Deputados, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), criticar a Petrobras nas redes sociais. “O Brasil não pode tolerar gasolina a quase R$ 7 e o gás a R$ 120”, disse Lira, que prometeu estudar mudanças no ICMS dos combustíveis.
Eleições 2022. Com vistas à disputa de 2022, a Executiva Nacional do PSL oficializou as conversas sobre uma possível fusão com o DEM. Rodolfo Costa diz o que é possível esperar dessas negociações. Terceira dose. O governo federal irá ampliar a aplicação da terceira dose da vacina contra a Covid-19. Vão receber a dose de reforço os idosos acima de 60 anos, conforme anunciou o ministro da Saúde, Marcelo Queiroga.
Números da pandemia. O Brasil registrou mais 793 mortes por Covid-19 e 15.395 novos casos da doença, segundo dados do Ministério da Saúde. Ao todo, o Brasil já contabiliza 21.381.790 diagnósticos positivos e 595.446 óbitos. Quanto à vacinação, foram imunizados 145.267.222 com a primeira dose e 87.994.741 com a segunda.
CPI da Covid. A CPI da Covid tem um novo alvo para suas últimas semanas: a influência do Ministério da Economia nos números da pandemia. Em depoimento, a advogada Bruna Morato vinculou a pasta ao chamado “gabinete paralelo”. O ministro Paulo Guedes pode vir a ser convocado.
Giro pelo mundo. O Reino Unido enfrenta uma crise de combustíveis que desabasteceu postos, causa filas e preços altos. Deputados do Chile aprovaram um projeto para descriminalizar o aborto. Um relatório aponta que funcionários da OMS cometeram abuso sexual durante ações na África.

Lei de Improbidade. Nesta quarta-feira (29), a Comissão de Constituição e Justiça do Senado deve votar o parecer do senador Weverton Rocha (PDT-MA) ao projeto que muda a Lei de Improbidade Administrativa. Se não houver boas mudanças de última hora, e se a CCJ aprovar o parecer, segue aberto o caminho para o Congresso Nacional dar sinalização diametralmente oposta ao endurecimento do combate à ladroagem. Se eliminar formulações abertas demais que deem margem a subjetivismos é uma alteração bem-vinda, o projeto que veio da Câmara e está no Senado vai muito além disso. O texto promove inúmeros retrocessos que dificultarão demais a responsabilização por irregularidades reais, a começar pela exigência de comprovação do dolo na configuração da improbidade, isentando até mesmo gestores que cometam erros culposos, mas decorrentes de evidente negligência, imprudência ou imperícia.
